The role has made her a huge star however she was concerned about the image of Mary Camden as a "good girl" would limit her abilities to act. The front cover of Gear magazine featured her partially dressed so as to alter that image. Jessica's actions Jessica created much uproar among her followers. Jessica was kicked out of 7th Heaven at the end of the sixth season. The movie Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance in it as teenager Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. The film earned her the prize for best Supporting Female Actress. Summer Catch, the comedy film in which she stars, bears witness to her amazing acting skills. The film Rules of Attraction did not achieve much success despite her amazing performance. The role she played in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, a horror movie, caught the public's eye. Her performance in suspense movies has proved her a serious actor.
