Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actor and producer who is best recognized for her roles played in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis is the American producer and actress who has worked in theater as well as television and film productions well, is actively involved in both the film and theater screen. Her career began as a theater actress and then appeared in several TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she not only received praise from critics but also a number of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film. She began her career acting in 1995 as Ariel in The Tempest. Her stage credits include the Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted through her appearances as a character in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her role as a regular on ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
