Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian actress. She made her debut on the huge screen with Sex Traffic by Channel 4 and won it was the British Academy Television Award was presented to her for Best Actress. French, German English and Romanian are the most spoken languages. Her father is a theater professor at one of Romania's highest-rated acting schools. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her performance in this film. Apart from her stellar performance in her debut film, she is famous for her role in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 weeks and 2 Days which won her several laurels including winning the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. In 2007, her role on Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film, 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 days (4 3 weeks, 4 months and two days) earned her the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two other awards, the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Additionally, she was the child character in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in The Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. In the film Fury (2014), she was Irma, the German woman, who served as Emma's aunt.
